Julie | Fitness Boxing Instructor
Julie has always had a passion for sweat. Growing up in a big family on a cattle ranch, fitness was the foundation of her youth. Playing sports and being active outdoors was part of her everyday life, so a career in fitness was the perfect fit. She started boxing over three years ago–doing private sessions with Anna, a combo of strength work (think pushups to failure) and pad work (Anna made her buy a mouth guard week 1). The way the body moves, slides, and floats as she boxes is what keeps Julie coming back for more–to learn and grow with the sport. It’s the feeling of total calm, yet complete focus, the feeling of unwavering strength and building power that makes her want to share it with everyone else. It’s not a workout. It’s a dance between the mental and the physical–the best kind of dance, the dance that you’re always trying to keep up with.

What is your favourite pastime outside of the gym?
Love to sweat…whether it’s at ride, running outside or just laying in the sun. Margarita would be nice too while you’re at it.
