Tanveen started boxing in 2016 while looking for a physical as well as a mental challenge. The dedication to proper technique and understanding strategy was key to developing discipline. Throughout high school she played basketball, volleyball, and soccer, but gave it all up to focus on boxing. Boxing has been such a male dominated sport and she thrived on the idea of introducing more femininity to the sport. She currently fights at 60kg, earned a Silver at provincials, and has the goal of becoming national champ. After completing her undergraduate degree and gaining more ring experience she also has the goal of one day representing Canada at the Olympics. Tanveen is a personal trainer, and open to taking on new clients in addition to running group training at All-City Athletics. If she isn’t at the gym, you can find her at a cafe, on the beach catching rays or eating (a lot). “If you hang out with Tanveen too long she will brainwash you into believing you can achieve anything you set your mind to.”

Remember, when someone tells you you can’t do something, “do it twice and take pictures.”
